What year of 900 do you need it for... There are different generations of valve bodies, and I'm not exactly sure which year had which style of valve body.
Also does your tranny have a top mounted...
Yep cracked heads..I sent a 902 block to the machine shop once that was the prettiest blue on the inside you ever wanted your gun to be. They the machine shop said don't send us those no more. ha ha...

I forgot to ask if it is a new 900 with hst plus2 ?? I have not had the privigle to work on one of those yet. it may differ from the other 3 generations of the 900 transmission.
Check the little allen bolt that pinches the flat arm on top of the black control valve. IN short make sure the control linkage is not slipping at the servo regulating valve.
If it has slipped it...

There are Now 4 generations that I know of.
Early 900 model had no means of reducing internal pressure to shift, except normal internal leakage.
